WHEN SHOULD I START LOOKING FOR A DRESS?

We recommend that you begin dress shopping 9-12 months before your wedding to ensure you do not feel rushed. We recommend ordering your dress no later than 7-9 months in advance of the big day!


DO YOU HAVE A DRESS WITHIN MY BUDGET?

Our bridal gowns price range from $1800 to $4000 with the average cost being $2000 to $2900. No matter where in this range your budget lies, we make it our priority to make you look and feel priceless.


WHAT SIZES ARE YOUR SAMPLES?

Sample sizes vary by Designer. We carry a range from bridal size 6-18, If your sizing is outside that range, please note that we have creative ways of making sure you can experience the look of your desired dress! Our gowns are made to order so depending on the designer we can order from a size 0-30.


DO I NEED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?

Appointments are preferred so as to ensure time availability, as we are only taking one appointment at a time, due to our space, our Boutique is available exclusively to you. Prior to your appointment we gather important details about your big day such as your wedding date and style preferences you have to ensure your needs are addressed during your appointment. We do understand there are times where booking an appointment may not be possible, and we will do our best to accommodate you.


HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN I BRING TO MY APPOINTMENT?

We do not recommend bringing more than 5 guests with you. It is important you bring the people you need with you to help guide you in your choices. Our Boutique will be available exclusively to you and your guests. You will have your own change room accompanied by a consultant to help you comfortably get in and out of the gowns, we want you to feel special!

DO I HAVE TO TAKE OFF MY SHOES?

In order to keep our dresses looking as beautiful as possible, we do not allow outside footwear in our boutique. You are more than welcome to bring your unworn wedding shoes, if you have them to try on with your dress. you and your All guests will be asked to change into our in-shop sockets or you may bring your own if you wish!


WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT MY APPOINTMENT?

You can expect a one-on-one consultation with an experienced Bridal Stylist. You will receive our undivided attention inside a beautifully appointed fitting room. Each of our appointments last approximately 90 minutes in length, and we will customize your experience to best suit your needs. At Petrov Bridal Boutique we allow and encourage our Brides to browse the collections at their own pace and handpick a selection of gowns based on your preferences. Our Bridal Stylists will also choose a selection of dresses to suit, if they feel there are others dresses that fit the style.


DO I NEED TO WEAR A BUSTIER OR ANY SPECIAL UNDERGARMENTS?

You will find that many of our gowns will have built in bustier that will provide the structure you seek. This means you will save time and money from having to purchase them. We recommend you bring a nude strapless bra and nude underwear as well as heels that are approximate height that you would be wearing on your wedding day.


HOW MUCH TIME WILL IT TAKE FOR MY DRESS TO COME IN?

Typically bridal gowns take 4 to 8 months to come in once we have placed your order with the designer. We recommend that alterations are done 6 to 8 weeks prior to the wedding date.


WHAT IS REQUIRED FOR PAYMENT?

When you have said “Yes to the Dress”, we require 50% of the price to order the gown. The remaining balance is paid once your gown arrives and you have come for your fitting. We do not have cash on site, we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Debit.


WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I ORDER MY GOWN?

We will call you when your gown arrives to begin your fittings. You may store your gown here with a storage fee of $75.00 and we will have it steamed and prepared for your wedding date.


DO YOU OFFER IN-STORE ALTERATIONS?

We do not offer in-store alterations. We work closely with an amazing seamstress in London, Ontario for our dress alterations. We also will provide you recommendations.


WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION OR RETURN POLICY?

All purchases are final sale including made to order gowns, samples, and accessories.


WHAT IS A TRUNK SHOW?

A trunk show is when a dress Designer sends a collection of dresses for a limited period of time outside of what we already carry in store. The purpose of the Trunk Show is to allow Brides to view additional styles that they may not have experienced anywhere else. Trunk shows are by appointment only.
