Cymbeline Paris showed their 2012 line at the Barcelona bridal show – the biggest bridal show in the world. I was on the phone to Cymbeline today and they are very excited about the new line and so am I. We will be going to New York in fall to buy for 2012. Here is a sample of my favourites from the Cymbeline line. Their lace dresses are so beautiful and feminine. Lace, thanks to Kate (Duchess of Cambridge), is already popular. And the headpieces are fantastic! I love the wide brimmed hats!

It looks like white is making a comeback. Will you be wearing white for your wedding?

Shoes, shoes, shoes

This has been a really fun season for shoes. Some brides have decided to add a little surprise by wearing coloured shoes, reflecting their sense of fun and a little bit of their personality. In addition to the traditional styles of shoes, pretty much anything goes. We have seen gorgeous wedding boots, from lace knee-highs to cute little ankle boots. Platforms, sandals, ivory shoes with a little bling, silver shoes with lots of bling. And lots of gorgeous colours. Our Dyeables, Touch Ups and Benjamin Walk shoes come in over 200 colours. Just bring in your swatch for matching, or pick from our colour chart. We love their new 2011 destination wedding shoe in pale ivory with a Caribbean Blue flower and matching bag. The flower can be dyed any colour – the choices are amazing! Their selection of prom shoes and engagement shoes are fabulous, including the edgy Jonathan Kayne (Project Runway) line. Coloriffics and Jen + Kim shoes are an exciting new addition to our collection, for brides who crave something different. Their design goal was to inject Young Hollywood into their bridal line. Jen + Kim have said goodbye to the boring sandal with their fabulous flat soled sandal adorned with a chiffon flower. We love it! Our bridal appointments are getting longer and longer. Good thing we book only one appointment an evening!
